IT Infrastructure Engineer

Are you a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer (L2) with a passion for maintaining robust and efficient IT environments? We're looking for a talented professional to join our team in Portugal and play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure.

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer (L2), you'll be responsible for the continuous support and implementation of critical technologies, ensuring we meet our agreed SLAs. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in the daily management, troubleshooting, and maintenance of:

• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

• Networks (excluding Telecommunications)

• Hardware Infrastructure and Servers

• VoIP (including CUBE management, numbers migration, new phones/extensions)

• Firewalls (including rules set-up/change)

• Identity Management (AD, GPO, Security Groups)

You'll also be instrumental in monitoring system performance (via Zabbix), supporting M&A efforts, acting as an L2 escalation point, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• University education in IT, Engineering, or similar work experience.

• 3+ years of experience in a relevant IT position, with a focus on hardware setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• 2+ years of experience with Cisco networking & security devices.

• Solid understanding of Windows Server, operating systems, Active Directory, IP Telephony/VoIP, firewalls, and proxy servers.

• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (both oral and written).

• Good English proficiency.

• Professional certifications (e.g., Cisco, ITIL, PMP, A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus!
